In the 21st minute Celtic got a corner and Mulgrew delivers a fine ball in the Barcelona penalty area. To the greater amazement of the home supporters, Wanyama scored for Celtic with a powerful header from the corner and Celtic lead by 1-0 against FC Barcelona.
It was a very tough night for Celtic as they were without the services of many of their key players. James Forrest, Emilio Izaguirre and Gary Hopper were unavailable for this vital match. Adding to the woes of Celtic, skipper Scott Brown too could not make in to the match suffering from viral disease.
Having conceded an early goal Barca were desperate for an equalizer and they pressed hard for it with constant attack into the Celtic box and displayed an array of passes in between them.
But, the night was not meant for Barcelona as they hit the cross piece twice and fail to score until the added time in the second half when magnificent Messi pulled one back for them.
The goal seemed to have arrived too late for Barcelona in the match as Celtic already punched in their second goal in the opponents net in the 83rd minute. It was the debutant, Watt who scored.
A dejected Barcelona manager Tito Vilanova, said after the match that, “We gave everything and deserved the win.”
Celtic win was one of the major upsets in one of the most prized European leagues, the Champions league.

Golf player Wie played badly this season. But yesterday she scored a lead against Candie Kung and Angela Stanford at the venue of Guadalajara Country Club. She was very happy for her performance.
The 23 year old Wie managed only two top-20 finishes in the current season. She needed an invitation from the sponsor to go into the 36-player field after failing from Qualifying round.
But after returning to the tournament in 2009 she won her first LPGA Tournament. The two holes at the opening were birdied by her before doing the last four holes. On that year it was her best score.
Wie said that this year is very difficult for her. It’s been the hardest year for her so far. But she thinks that she is helped by guacamole this week. She also thinks that might be, this is the changing point. So, that is why she is going hard and she is hopeful that it will help. It is very nice for her to return to the golf course where she has a lot of old and good memories.
According to her the fans are really fun making when they come to enjoy the game. She really appreciated the food of this place. She also said that the place is very beautiful and well planned. It will be a great fun for her to return here.
